Church School Values

To underpin our school's key values of 'kindness', 'learning' and 'tolerance', pupils learn about the fifteen Church School values, based on a rolling two year programme.  These have been structured in such a way to reflect the celebrations and festivals within the Anglican calendar, and to develop our pupils' knowledge and understanding of how to behave in a Christian manner.

Each half term, the chosen value is displayed in our school hall, accompanied with Biblical quotes.  Throughout the half term collective worship is based on the theme, and teaching staff use stories from the Bible to place the value into context.  Pupils are encouraged to consider and reflect upon their own behaviour and how the value may influence their future actions.

The value for this half term is hope.
