School Games Day 2019
Today (Friday 17th May 2019), we held our annual School Games Day. The children took part in competitive sports, competiting for coloured teams. We were a little concerned at the beginning of the day as the weather had decided to take a turn for the worse. However, as the day progressed, the weather seemed to hold off and we were able to complete all activities, making for a very successful day.
Each year group competed in a different sport:
Year 6 - Dodgeball
Year 5 - Volleyball
Year 4 - Kabaddi
Year 3 - Tag Rugby
Year 2 - Cricket
Year 1 - Tri Golf
Reception - Multi skills
We are delighted to announce that the winning team was: The Blue Team
Although winning is the aim of the day, the adults spent time watching the children playing and participating in their given sport. They were looking for those children who demonstrated 6 different values. Below, is a table containing the values and those children who were identified.
