Welcome to Kirkby la Thorpe Church of England Primary Academy.

We are a busy but friendly school, with lots going on. Situated in the village of Kirkby la Thorpe, we are a small, rural primary school, meeting the needs of pupils across Sleaford and the surrounding area. This website aims to give you a taster of our school, as well as providing regularly updated information for parents, carers and pupils.

We are delighted to now offer an on-site Pre-School provision, providing high-quality early years education within our nurturing school family. Our Pre-School gives children a strong start to their learning journey, ensuring a smooth and confident transition into Reception. As part of our school community, our youngest learners benefit from our experienced staff, engaging environment and our shared Christian vision and values.

At KLT we aim to create a happy, purposeful atmosphere where every child has the opportunity to reach his or her full potential through a broad and balanced curriculum. We encourage children to value their contributions to the school and to celebrate their achievements.
