  • Spring Fair

    Thu 24 Mar 2016
Our annual Spring Fair was once again a big success with a special thank you to Mrs. Huckle who coordinated the event and to our Year 6 pupils who helped run the stalls.  There was a lovely atmosphere throughout the afternoon which we are sure set everyone's Easter break off to a cracking start!
  • Vetinary Nurses Visit

    Thu 17 Mar 2016
We recently had a visit from two vetinary nurses from Kirk's Vets. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed learning about x-rays, broken bones, things that animals had swallowed and much more.  We hope they come back soon.
  • Sporting Events

    Fri 11 Mar 2016

Once again in the Spring term some of our pupils took part insporting events including an Archery competition at Carres Grammar School which was very exciting even though the bows were enormous and very heavy to hold.  One pupil even got a bullseye!  Mrs. Leader also took some pupils to a Gymnastics competition against other local school on 18 March.

Lets not forget the Sports Relief Fun Run on the 8th March. The whole school took part, running a total of 1406 laps of the field! Children were grouped in their houses with Ely coming first, Durham second, Salisbury third and Canterbury fourth.  A total of £85.16 was also raised for Sports Relief.

  • Family Science Workshops

    Tue 08 Mar 2016
This event was amazing with rocket launching to building a skeleton.  The feedback from the children was super.
  • Nick Williams Presentation

    Tue 08 Mar 2016
Nick Williams is a photographer who travels all over the world taking pictures of animals in the wild.  He had some adorable wildlife photographs and told lots of stories about the animals.  He also told us about an African family of seven who all live together in one room with only a small amount of   water and food each week.  Children were fascinated with his stories and experiences and we look forward to seeing him again next year.
