  • Champagne Breakfast!

    Mon 20 Jun 2016
Our school celebrated Her Majesty's 90th birthday in style, watching a video of her life and amazing achievements.  Mr. Black then raised the union jack flag in the playground and everyone sang the National Anthem.  Afterwards, we all ate a scone with cream and jam washed down with champagne (lemonade and orange juice).
  • Taekwondo

    Mon 20 Jun 2016
A few of our Year 3 pupils took part in a Taekwondo festival at a nearby primary school recently.  It was a fun and exciting experience, and those that went said they would love to do it again.
  • Multi Skills Festival

    Mon 20 Jun 2016
Twelve different sports, including football, hockey and running with beanbags were tried by some of our Year 1 and Year 2 pupils at a festival held at Nocton Sports Centre recently.  They all said they would love to go again!
  • Bicycles and The Big Pedal

    Mon 20 Jun 2016

Dr Bike came to do his annual health check on any bike the pupils brought into school.  Brakes, tyres, chains, handlebars, seats and lights were all checked and fixed if needed - all to help us keep safe and encourage us to use our bikes.

Many children blinged their bike or scooter at the end of April with a massive parade around the playground.  Dr. Bike judged the competition and gave out prizes to the winners.

The School took part in The Big Pedal which lasted a whole fortnight.  During this time pupils could either bike or scoot to school.  The Kingfisher class did the greatest number of rides and scoots to school and won an amazing telescope which the whole school will be able to use.  Our thanks to Dr. Bike for donating the telescope.

  • Saxon Day

    Mon 20 Jun 2016
On Tuesday, 17th May, an Anglo Saxon rushed into our classroom and almost frightened us out of our skins!  We were to become warriors, and followed him outside.  Hrothgar explained about weapons we would use and the exciting stories we would share around the camp fire.  It was a fantastic day, enjoyed by all.
