  • Owls' After School Club

    Fri 19 Oct 2018
From 1st October our school has taken over the management of our After School Club.  We have introduced a number of changes, in response to the needs of our parents/carers.  We now run an ad-hoc service, which has two tiers of car.  Session 1 is 3.15-4.45pm charged at £4.50 and includes a snack.  Session 2 runs from 4.45-6pm costing an additional £2.50.
  • School Trips

    Fri 19 Oct 2018
Pupils have been busy taking part  in trips to extend their learning.  Years 1 and 2 visited the Lincolnshire Life Museum to experience Victorian life.  Our Year 6 had a taste of the wider, working world when they visited the Epic Centre.  The children were given the opportunity to participate in a number of taster sessions including plumbing, brick laying, painting and decorating, to name but a few.
  • Charity Work

    Fri 12 Oct 2018
As a school we have decided to focus the work that we do to support charities and link these to our topic work in the classroom.  As a result, we have identified three charities that we will centre our fundraising on this year.  To develop the children's understanding, we have chosen a local, national and international charity; Sleaford Community Larder, Lifeboats and Water Aid.
  • Bishop's Visit

    Fri 12 Oct 2018
On 25th September we were fortunate to be visited by the Suffragan Bishop of Grimsby, the Rt Revd Dr David Court who joined us at our termly communion service and spent some time hearing about our relationship with the St Denys Church in the village.  He was very impressed with our service and how we educate our pupils on this aspect of Christian worship.
  • Improvements

    Fri 12 Oct 2018

Over the summer holidays we have been very fortunate to receive two donations towards the maintenance of our hall floor.  The existing floor has been sanded and new layers of varnish have been applied giving the illusion of a brand new floor.

A further project has been the replacement of all of our school lighting with LED lights.  This has been a substantial project, which both promotes our Eco School status, and will also save our school a significant amount of money in terms of energy costs.  Many thanks to our Friends of School who donated £4000 towards this project.
