  • Sporty KLT!

    Wed 29 Nov 2017

At the start of November, pupils from Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 took part in a multi-skills event at Nocton Leisure Centre and it was lovely for some of our youngest pupils to take part in such an event.

On the 10 November our Year 5 and 6 pupils participated in the netball qualifier, although were not fortunate enough to make it through to the final.

Years 3, 4 and 6 pupils participated in the Sports Hall Athletics competition on 17 November with our Year 6 pupils coming second overall.

Well done to all our sporty pupils.

  • Friends of School

    Wed 29 Nov 2017

A huge thank you to our Friends of School who have been busy with fundraising events.

As always our Harvest Supper was a huge success and raised £930.  Furthermore our Year 6 pupils took all of the canned goods to the Sleaford Community Larder which were gratefully received.

For the first time Friends of School held a Firework display and it was lovely to see so many of our families in attendance as well as the village community.  The event raised £553 and we are so appreciative of the time and effort given in helping to organise this event.

  • Computer Suite Update

    Wed 29 Nov 2017
Over the October half term holiday our ICT suite was upgraded, improving both the specification of our machines and also the number available for pupil use.  Many thanks to the Waynflete Charitable Trust for their kind donation towards our equipment, which is greatly appreciated.
  • Rhubarb Theatre Company

    Wed 29 Nov 2017
We had our annual visit from the Rhubarb Theatre Company at the beginning of November.  As always, pupils were in awe of the performance, which had them riveted from start to end.  The play handled the sensitive subject of bullying in a thoughtful manner.  Many thanks to Kirsty Mead and her team for visiting us.
  • Children in Need

    Wed 29 Nov 2017
Well done to all of our pupils for raising £209.54 for Children in Need.  Our school was a flurry of spots and we were overwhelmed with the generosity of families in terms of the vast number of cakes we received for our spotty cake sale.
  • School Disco

    Wed 29 Nov 2017
Thank you to all of the pupils who attended our recent school disco .  £374 was raised which will contribute to our panto tickets this year.
