How do I access learning for my child if they are self-isolating or are off school due to COVID-19?
If your child is absent from school due to COVID-19 related matters, depending upon his/her health, their class teacher will provide work for them.
In the first instance, work is most likely to be sent home either via email or in paper form. For Years 1 -6 , if pupil absence is for a greater length of time, or for a larger group of pupils, Microsoft for Teams will be used. For Reception, learning will be posted to Tapestry.
Microsoft Teams can be accessed in two main ways:
• via www.office.com, opening the Teams app in the web browser;
• via the Teams app, which can be accessed by downloading the Teams app (preferred) or by using the web app instead.
To login, you will need your child’s email address and school password. These can be found in your child’s reading diary. Your child’s email address is based on the following: firstname.surname@kltprimary.co.uk
