Prayer plays an important role in our school life and a range of prayers are used throughout the school week.
Lord's Prayer
The Lord's Prayer is said in collective worship at the start of every week. This unites our school family and reminds us of Christian values, and how to behave in a Christian manner.
School Creed
As a whole school, we say our School Creed in our Friday Celebration worship. This reminds us to care for one another, and the importance of our school family.
This is our school.
Let peace dwell here,
Let the rooms be full of contentment,
Let love abide here,
Love of one another,
Love of mankind,
Love of life itself,
And love of God.
Let us remember
That, as many hands build a house,
So many hearts make a school.
Amen.
Grace and Hometime Prayer
Every lunchtime pupils and staff say grace to show thanks for their meal. Before hometime, pupils and staff say their class prayer, thanking God for their day, and asking that they safely return to school the following day.
