Sporting Events

Pupils have continued to take part in lots of Friday festival led by Carres Grammar School, participating in Change4Life, tchoukball, cross country, table tennis, ks1 football, Year 3-4 mini olympics and year 5-6 athletics.

Kirkby la Thorpe football team have had another amzing season this year.  Despite being a relatively small school, we once again competed against teams with a much larger pool of children to choose from, finishing in second place, leading to promotion to the main league next year.  Due to the hard work of our staff, KLT has been awarded the Gold Youth Sports Trust mark for the fourth consecutive year.
